I was born in Paris and raised mostly in West Africa, in French, on a steady diet of bandes dessinées. I still dream about snorkeling off the jetty in Lomé, over sea urchins two feet across.
Then a PhD in neural networks, back when they needed defending, and a career spent making complicated systems make sense: air traffic, postal routes, insurance markets, security ML for eight million users. The one constant was that the answer had to be legible to someone who didn’t write the code. The details are on the Track record page.
In 2025 I stopped building other people’s systems and started building my own. Orpheus went live in May 2026, nine months after its first room. Daedalus is the studio that grew out of it, and the list of things to build keeps getting longer.
Away from the desk: French (native-ish), a linocut habit that escaped into my user interfaces, binoculars pointed at the Pleiades, and a shelf of bande dessinée that has followed me across three continents.
